and development of museums. A discussion of the Museum Insul, a unique, concentrated block of museums in the island hunting
estate of the emperor.
- Mar 9. The Rise of German Expressionism, 1905-1913:
die Brucke, founded in Dresden, moves to Berlin. Kirchner, Nolde and others.
- Mar 16. 1911-1914. Der Blaue Reiter, founded in Munich,
finds an outlet at the Magazine and gallery Der Sturm in Berlin. Kandinsky, Klee and others.
- Mar 23. The vital and decadent city; 1918-33. Expressionist
renewal. Kathe Kollwitz, George Grosz, and Max Beckmann.
