The Alfa--Elegant design by Pinin Farina. A pure joy to drive when it was up and running. Half the time it was down with a variety of ailments: run down battery, because the pulley drive for the generator slipped; the battery tipped over, sending acid into the gas tank and ruining the electric gas pump. Whenever it stopped, I had to pull over, crawl under the body, and hit the pump with a hammer. The valve timing was crucial, so that the valves burned out every year or so, etc, etc, etc.

Efficient box by Alex Issigonis, great view on all sides, as maneuverable as an alley cat. Considered bringing it back to the US, but the tiny critter would have been road kill for any standard American car.
